The Seattle Seahawks selected Crimson Tide tight end Robbie Ouzts with the 175th overall pick, in the fifth round of the draft. Ouzts was largely expected to go undrafted. He was the first Alabama tight end to be selected.

After adding a tight end on Day 2, Seattle drafted another college tight end on Day 3, but with plans for a position switch.
