A high-impact winter system is expected to bring a mix of snow, sleet, and freezing rain across Arkansas Tuesday.

Most of the winter precipitation expected to hit Arkansas remains a few hours out, the National Weather Service said Tuesday morning, with travel across most of the state likely to be impacted in the early afternoon.
