The entirety of NASCAR’s Chicago Street Race runs on public right-of-way. It's the only street race on the NASCAR calendar, which means running it takes a bit of extra planning — and some special attention paid to manhole covers.

NASCAR Chicago Street Race will be held July 5 and 6 around Grant Park. Road closures, traffic plans, parking restrictions and more are in place.
