Today is going to be a mild day in the Grand Valley. Temperatures will be in the mid-sixties with mostly cloudy skies. Breezes will be picking up in the area with gusts up to 30 miles per hour possible for certain areas in the valley.

Conditions throughout the region will be mostly quiet on Monday other than a few small, unstable showers bringing brief heavy rain, graupel, and a few stray lightning strikes.

While the skies were cloudy and temperatures hovered in the low 50s when festivities got underway, the mood was bright and jubilant. As always, the crowd was decked out in every shade of green imaginable. Top hats, shamrock-printed tutus, feathery boas and loads and loads of beads were among the most popular green accessories.
