The Curiosity Mars rover covers a lot of ground for a robot that only moves at a max speed of .1 mph. A photo snapped recently by NASA’s Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter provides a pretty cool visualization of what the rover has been up to so far this year,

Captured by the Orbiter's High-Resolution Imaging Science Experiment (HiRISE) camera, the shot was taken on February 28 this year; this was the 4,455th day of Curiosity's mission after it touched down on Mars on August 6, 2012.

The HiRise camera is living up to its name, capturing a rare look at the veteran rover from way up in Martian orbit.
