Liverpool manager Arne Slot has heaped praise on midfielder Dominik Szoboszlai after yet another dazzling display for the Reds. The Hungarian midfielder got on the score sheet to help Liverpool secure a comprehensive 2-0 win against Newcastle United, putting them one step closer to a second Premier League title.

What was arguably most eye-catching about Szoboszlai’s display was the relentless manner in which he repeatedly tracked back and helped break up City’s attacks. Slot had warned his players they would need to “suffer” out of possession against City and the 24-year-old duly obliged. He’s got the stamina of a marathon runner.
