Drake AD Brian Hardin details Ben McCollum's departure, looks ahead to coaching search
McCollum left for Iowa after leading the Bulldogs to a 31-4 overall record and the second round of the NCAA Tournament, where Drake fell to Texas Tech on Saturday. The 43-year-old coach spent one season in Des Moines – his first stint as a Division I head coach – and signed a five-year contract when Hardin hired him last April.
