EA Sports appears to be capitalizing on the wildly successful recent return of its college football franchise -- and is now playfully teasing what looks like a long-awaited comeback for the college basketball version. Monday, EA posted on social media about the return of the video game, which has been off the shelves for over a decade. The last time a college basketball game was released was “NCAA Basketball 10,” which was released in Nov. 2009.

Following the smashing success of the college football video game’s revival, EA Sports is going to bring back the college basketball game after almost two decades away. The company announced the news Monday in a social media post.
