Meta on Thursday announced it is launching a new, centralized support hub for Facebook and Instagram, acknowledging that getting help hasn’t always been as easy as it should be. The space will bring together all the support features users of both networks need to report account issues or recover one they’ve lost access to.
The new AI assistant being tested is designed to offer more personalized help with things like account recovery, managing your profile, or updating your settings. This particular feature will first be available to Facebook users, but the company expects to roll it out to other apps in the future.

Despite being owned by the same parent company, the user bases of Facebook and Instagram couldn't feel more different. Regardless of which one you primarily use, you'll soon be getting support from the same place, thanks to a new support hub for both social networks, Meta announced on Thursday.
First, the pros. Facebook Dating is not a standalone app. It's part of the Facebook app alongside other popular services like Marketplace and Reels. That makes it incredibly easy to create an account since you're already logged in, similar to how Meta launched Threads as an extension of Instagram.
The new centralized hub is designed to make support easier to access. Meta says its previous tools haven't “always met expectations.”
