Australian Open champion Madison Keys suffered a shock 6-4, 6-2 defeat in the third round of the Miami Open to Filipina teenager Alexandra Eala.

For Iga Swiatek, this is much more familiar territory with the world number two yet to drop a set on her way to the quarter-finals. She was tested by Elina Svitolina in the round of 16 but the Pole nicked the first set on a tie-break and applied pressure in the right moments to take the second set 6-3.

Wild card Alexandra Eala, 19, upset American fifth seed Madison Keys 6-4, 6-2 on Sunday to continue her dream run at the Miami Open, where she has now toppled two Grand Slam champions in consecutive rounds.
