A large image of and a quote from Harriet Tubman have been removed from a National Park Service webpage about the Underground Railroad, following several prominent changes to government websites under the Trump administration.

The webpage's administrators temporarily changed an introductory paragraph to emphasize “Black/White Cooperation.”

The National Park Service (NPS) scrapped a reference to abolitionist Harriet Tubman from its webpage dedicated to the Underground Railroad, The Hill reported. Tubman’s image had been a prominent feature on the page for years.
