Youth will be served in the final of the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships, where 17-year-old Mirra Andreeva is set to take on Denmark's Clara Tauson for the biggest title of their careers.

Clara Tauson, ranked 38th, has three career WTA titles, the most recent one at Auckland last month. She is chasing her own history of being the first Danish woman to compete in a WTA 1000 final since Caroline Wozniacki. Clara Tauson becomes the 2nd Danish player to reach a WTA 1000 singles final.

Russian teenager Mirra Andreeva became the youngest player to reach the final of a WTA 1,000 event after beating sixth-seeded Elena Rybakina 6-4, 4-6, 6-3 Friday at the Dubai Championships. The 17-year-old Andreeva trailed 3-1 in the third set before winning the last five games to reach her second tour-level final.

Andreeva will now meet either Karolina Muchova or Clara Tauson in the final, chasing her second Tour-level title and a career-high world ranking.
