Kansas senior KJ Adams went down late in the second half of the Jayhawks’ 79-72 loss to Arkansas in the first round of the NCAA Tournament on Thursday, and coach Bill Self said he feared the senior had a serious Achilles tendon injury.

Kansas forward KJ Adams exited the Jayhawks’ first-round NCAA Tournament game against Arkansas with what appeared to be a non-contact injury. Losing their star player late in the second half, the Razorbacks would go on to defeat the Jayhawks 79-72.
