The newest member of the Toronto Blue Jays, infielder Kazuma Okamoto, will be introduced to the media on Tuesday. He will be joined by agent Scott Boras and Blue Jays EVP, baseball operations and general manager Ross Atkins.
While GM Ross Atkins has expressed satisfaction with his work to date — including the latest big addition, Japanese slugger Kazuma Okamoto — he has also indicated there is still money available. “We’ve always had incredible support from ownership,” Atkins said at Tuesday’s introductory press conference for Okamoto.
