Over 11,000 cartons of ice cream are being recalled after a customer discovered a piece of metal in a container of the frozen treat.

California's truth in labeling law reserves the recycling sign only for products and packaging that can truly be recycled.

The officers found 7,498 cartons and 16 packets of duty-unpaid cigarettes hidden inside the container on Dec 27. They handed the case over to Singapore Customs for further investigation.
