An unusual storm in the state led to floods in southern Colorado, destroying homes and evacuating hundreds of residents across several counties.

On Saturday, Arizona Gov. Katie Hobbs declared a state of emergency to speed resources to the area.
One woman’s car got stuck in a flooded roadway and the Tucson Fire Department had to respond. In Vail, traffic was not able to go through a road until it reopened.
"We saw rainfall upwards of half an inch in 10 to 15 minutes," a National Weather Service meteorologist told The Arizona Republic.
