EAST PEORIA, Ill. (WMBD) — Multiple homes and a tree-cutting business on Main Street in East Peoria will be cleared to make way for construction of an on-ramp extension onto the Cedar Street Bridge.

The kind of large cargo ships responsible for the collapse of the Key Bridge don't often go through Peoria, but that doesn't mean there isn't risk.
