NORWALK, Conn. — Police have identified a Norwalk man who died after being hit by an unmarked Norwalk police vehicle on Monday evening. Manuel Bonilla-Gomez, 68, of Norwalk was hit at the intersection of Connecticut Avenue and Clinton Avenue just after 6 p.m. as an unmarked Norwalk police vehicle was responding to a call for service, police said.

An investigation is underway after a man riding a bicycle was stuck and killed by an unmarked police vehicle in Norwalk, Connecticut.

A police officer in an unmarked vehicle hit a person while responding to a call Monday evening, according to police. It happened just after 6 p.m. at the intersection of Connecticut Avenue and Fairfield Avenue.
