Investigators are examining what caused a mid-sized plane to crash and erupt in flames near Hicks Airfield in Tarrant County on Sunday afternoon, killing two people.

Authorities say the plane went down after striking several parked semis, setting them on fire and sending thick black smoke billowing into the air.
