Jalen Hurts, Saquon Barkley and the Philadelphia Eagles visit the New York Giants led by rookie quarterback Jaxon Dart in what should be an exciting Thursday Night Football showdown taking place in The Big Apple tonight.

The Philadelphia Eagles updated the playing status for Jalen Carter, who was questionable for the New York Giants game.

Both the Eagles and the Giants are looking to bounce back from disappointing Week 5 losses just four days after they happened when they meet on "Thursday Night Football" to open Week 6.

Eagles defensive tackle Jalen Carter will be inactive for Thursday night’s game against the New York Giants at MetLife Stadium, according to NFL Network.

The Giants announced a handful of additions to their roster ahead of Thursday night's game against the Eagles.

Unfortunately, though, that is hard to do since the Giants face the Eagles twice a year. The focus should remain on Barkley for Thursday night's NFC East showdown with Philly, as he could very well be the key to the game. If New York wants any chance of pulling off an upset, it will probably need to contain its former running back.

New York lost a dispiriting game to the New Orleans Saints last week, turning the ball over five times. The Giants had captured their first win of the season the week before in what was Jaxson Dart's first-ever start, so it was particularly disheartening to fall back and lose to a winless Saints team.
