HILLSBORO, Ala. ( WAFF /Gray News) — A woman gave birth to her son on a sidewalk just feet away from a birthing center.

Kathryn Norsigian, a 35-year-old former teacher, opens up to PEOPLE about what was going through her head when she unexpectedly found herself giving birth on the side of the road at 5 a.m. on April 5.
