Kyle Whittingham will be the next head coach of the Michigan Wolverines football team, taking over for Sherrone Moore, who was fired earlier this month.

Hailing from Cartersville, Georgia, Brady Marchese flipped from the in-state Bulldogs to Michigan football the day after signing day. It was a huge coup for the Wolverines. However, according to On3’s Hayes Fawcett, the four-star wide receiver is asking for a release from his NLI.

As the Michigan Wolverines continue their search for a new head coach, a seasoned and highly respected name has emerged in coaching circles: Kyle Whittingham.

"I feel like you could either go one of two ways," Michigan football LB Cole Sullivan said. "Stay together or break apart."
