The Brighton Police Department said the 82-year-old was heading east on Interstate 76 when she struck the center barrier around 1:50 p.m. She was ejected from the motorcycle, and the motorcycle rolled over the cable barrier into oncoming traffic, striking another vehicle.

Brighton Police (BPD) said the crash took place in the area of Interstate 76 and Eagle Boulevard at around 2 p.m. Police said the motorcycle rider, an 82-year-old woman, was headed east on Interstate 76 when she made contact with the center barrier near the Eagle Boulevard exit.

A North Adams man was killed in a motorcycle crash in Vermont on Thursday. It happened just after 3:45 p.m. on Route 100 near Robillard Road. Vermont State Police said Connor Caron, 20, was riding a 2009 Triumph motorcycle.
