Russia said on Tuesday it was waiting for clarity from the United States about the possible supply of Tomahawk missiles to Ukraine, saying such weapons could theoretically carry nuclear warheads.

US President Donald Trump has warned Russia that Ukraine may get long-range Tomahawk missiles.

"The topic of Tomahawks is of extreme concern," Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told Russian state television in remarks published on Sunday.
