The first weekend of the NCAA tournament is nearly over. Today ends the round of 32 and the most exciting weekend in sports, a.k.a. March Madness of the men's Division I basketball tournament. While Michigan advanced to the Sweet 16 with a victory over Texas A&M on Saturday, we had yet another upset with No. 10 Arkansas toppling No. 2 St. John's.

Fewer than 1% of NCAA Tournament brackets were still perfect after Thursday’s 16-game slate, according to several services where fans attempt the all-but impossible task of predicting every March Madness game correctly — or, barring that, win their office pools.

While the men’s NCAA Tournament may have been light on first-round upsets, the upshot is the second round is filled with matchups between top teams. All the No. 1 and No. 2 seeds playing Sunday are still alive as schools battle for a spot in the Sweet 16.
