Steelers facing must-win situation in season finale against Baltimore after 13-6 loss at Browns
The Steelers (9-7) could have locked up a playoff berth with a victory over last-place Cleveland, or if the Baltimore Ravens (8-8) had lost to Green Bay on Saturday. The Ravens remained alive with a 41-24 triumph over the Packers.
Per ESPN Research: the 2025 Eagles are the first team since the 1987 Patriots to win multiple games in a season in which they didn’t complete a second half pass. Hurts is the first QB in the play by play era (since 1978) to go 0-7 or worse in multiple games in a season.
Myles Garrett didn't set the NFL's single-season sacks record Sunday, but he believes the Steelers were more worried about preventing his record than getting the win.
CLEVELAND, Ohio — Browns head coach Kevin Stefanski took questions from reporters on Sunday with regard to the 13-6 win over the Pittsburgh Steelers, Aaron Rodgers, Denzel Ward, Shedeur Sanders, and more. Below is the transcript as provided by the Browns media relations department:
CLEVELAND -- Myles Garrett didn't get the sack record, but his Cleveland Browns recorded a 13-6 upset win over the Pittsburgh Steelers, who missed a golden opportunity to win the AFC North. Cleveland clinched the win after its defense came up with a red-zone stand in the game's final seconds.
The Steelers still have five possible playoff opponents, which include the Chargers, Jaguars, Texans, Bills, or Patriots. However, if they do end up clinching this weekend, their Week 18 game against the Baltimore Ravens would not have any seeding implications, either.
