Tesla's long-awaited "Juniper" refresh of the Model Y has just launched in China.

Tesla has officially revealed the latest version of its Model Y crossover following images leaking online that teased the EV’s redesign. Codenamed “Juniper,” the Model Y 2025 refresh is now live on Tesla’s website in China and other Asia-Pacific markets with deliveries expected to begin in March.

The refreshed Model Y will start at 263,500 Chinese yuan ($35,935), which is more than 5% higher than the price of the previous Model Y version. The electric vehicle giant expects to begin making deliveries in March after securing regulatory approval.

The update is the first major revamp for the Model Y since the electric compact crossover's debut in 2019. The most noticeable change is the new styling, which features a chiseled front end with a light strip that matches the design of the Cybercab robotaxi. A light strip also replaces the separate brake lights found on the current Model Y.
