The Cincinnati Bearcats host the UCF Golden Knights as significant favorites looking to bolster their record in Week 7 of the college football season.

The UCF Knights and the West Virginia Mountaineers meet Saturday, both hoping to end three-game losing streaks in Big 12 play.

West Virginia running back Jahiem White was tackled by a horse collar and a facemask by an Ohio defender. It was an ugly tackle, and White couldn’t get up. He was helped to the sideline and eventually went out on the cart.

Scott Frost returns as UCF coach and he's 2-0 against UC with wins in 2016 and 2017 before his five-year stint at his alma mater, Nebraska. Former UC running back Myles Montgomery returns to campus having gained 119 yards vs. Kansas State and 110 last week against Kansas.

UCF's running game has been sporadic but occasionally explosive. The Knights ripped off 16 designed run plays of at least 15 yards, per Pro Football Focus — including Jaden Nixon's season-long 87-yard sprint to the end zone against North Carolina A&T.
