BYU transfer Jake Retzlaff took another step forward in his bid to win Tulane's starting quarterback job, completing all four of his passes in an efficient performance while injured competitor Brendan Sullivan sat out with an injury he sustained in Thursday's practice.

QB Jake Retzlaff, who withdrew from BYU following a lawsuit accusing him of rape and a suspension for violating the school's honor code, has verbally committed to transfer to Tulane, sources told ESPN's Pete Thamel.
