The Miami Dolphins defeated the Detroit Lions 24-17 in their second preseason game of the 2025 schedule. The Dolphins have a joint practice with the Jacksonville Jaguars on Thursday, August 21, and a third preseason game at Hard Rock Stadium on Saturday, Aug. 23, at 7 p.m.

Backup quarterback Zach Wilson had a strong first half for the Dolphins and third-stringer Quinn Ewers threw for two second-half touchdowns as Miami beat the Detroit Lions 24-17 in the preseason.
