Former Green Bay Packer JC Tretter, who was considered a favorite to replace Lloyd Howell as interim director of the NFL Players Association, has resigned as the NFLPA's chief strategy officer. A former center with the Packers and Cleveland Browns, Tretter told CBS Sports he has removed himself from consideration for the interim top NFL union post.
