Penn State defensive end Abdul Carter is the latest Nittany Lions to make his stay-or-go decision for next year now that the team’s 2024 season is over. The junior is declaring for the 2025 NFL Draft.

Should he choose to participate, the NFL Draft Combine is from Feb. 27-March 2. The 2025 NFL Draft is from Thursday, April 24 to Saturday, April 26. Both teams combined for 31 points in the fourth quarter after scoring just 20 in the first three quarters.

Carter entered the Orange Bowl as a game-time decision with a shoulder injury suffered against Boise State in the Fiesta Bowl. The junior, a Glenside native, had a breakout junior year in his first season at defensive end, finishing with 23.5 tackles for losses and 12 sacks.
