Former Tennessee football safety Will Brooks has signed with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the team announced Aug. 18.

The former walk-on, who became a fan favorite in his final season in Knoxville, signed with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Monday. Brooks originally signed with the Kansas City Chiefs as an undrafted free agent in May. He was waived by the team three days after signing.

Many are wondering if they'll get to see Baker Mayfield this preseason, but Buccaneers head coach Todd Bowles is more concerned about seeing his potential backup QBs on the field.
