On Tuesday at 2:48 p.m. the National Weather Service issued a winter weather advisory valid from 10 p.m. until Thursday 1 a.m. for Berkshire County.

The advisory was for Mason, Lake, Osceola, Clare, Oceana, Newaygo and Mecosta counties. "Light snow is diminishing and will move out of the advisory area by 1 am," states the National Weather Service.

Environment Canada has placed Toronto and its surrounding regions under a winter weather travel advisory, as snowfall is expected to create hazardous driving conditions.
