Nova Bus recalls 2023-2024 LFS and LFS Artic buses due to faulty coolant sensors that could lead to engine overheating. Check your bus now.
Nova Bus (US) Inc. (Nova Bus) is recalling certain Casco engine coolant level sensors with part number N108036. The coolant sensor could send a false signal, causing the engine to shut down.
A bad coolant sensor that's confusing the PCM into thinking coolant temperature is lower than it actually is can cause this symptom, as can a clogged or restricted exhaust or catalytic converter.
Some units of the 2024 Cadillac Lyriq may be equipped with an incorrect HVAC coolant sensor harness. Now, GM has issued Service Update to correct the issue.
The engine coolant temperature sensor may be cracked. This could cause the enging coolant temperature warning light to come on inadvertently and in rare cases may cause engine operating faults.
