Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said a peace plan proposed by President Donald Trump is effectively ready to move forward, including potentially being put to a nationwide vote in Ukraine.

Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelensky said Thursday he had had "very good" talks with US President Donald Trump's envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner, focused on ending the "brutal Russian war".

Earlier this week, Zelenskyy unveiled a 20-point draft peace proposal, which he said serves as the central framework for resolving the war.
