Several impressive game mechanics set to appear in the highly anticipated next Battlefield game come to light following recent playtest leaks.

EA's first Battlefield Labs test session has led to an abundance of leaked gameplay videos, showing off the huge map size and a new revive mechanic.

Numerous video clips of what is purportedly gameplay footage of the next Battlefield game have appeared online today, with many of them swiftly being taken down by Electronic Arts.

Interestingly, Electronic Arts does not appear to be putting great effort into having the gameplay clips taken down.

Read on to learn more about the leaked gameplay footage for the next Battlefield. A popular Call of Duty news channel posted the footage on their X channel, and EA possibly removed it immediately. However, @BobNetworkUK_, known for being a prominent leaker in the industry, shared new gameplay, and it looks great at first glance.

Leaked footage shows the classic Battlefield game mode Conquest being played on an urban map named Abbasid. The UI looks similar to that of Battlefield 2042, but also features a return to the franchise's tried-and-true class system, with players able to choose between Assault, Engineer, Support, and Recon.

There's also been a lot of positive chatter about in-game movement, too, with improved and/or reintroduced movement features such as crouch sprint, combat dive, and landing roll, as well as new visual indicators "to make it easier to understand when movements such as vaulting or leaning are possible."
