Christopher Nolan's The Odyssey reportedly had a big-name actor in mind for a key role, but Avengers: Doomsday prevented it from happening.

Following his Oscar-winning feature film Oppenheimer (2024) which swept the Best Picture, Best Director, Best Lead Actor, Best Score and more categories at the 96th annual Academy Awards, Christopher Nolan’s next project is taking shape.

Damon is joined in the star-studded film by Tom Holland, Zendaya, Robert Pattinson, Lupita Nyong’o, Anne Hathaway, Charlize Theron, Benny Safdie, Jon Bernthal, Elliot Page, Himesh Patel, Bill Irwin, Samantha Morton and Mia Goth .
