The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office has received a new police dog named Jaco. Starting Feb. 12, Jaco will be able to certify through the National Narcotic Detector Dog Association.
Officers say state legislation would mean getting Glock switches and these devices out of the hands of criminals, holding them accountable in state and federal court.
