Josh Allen edged out Lamar Jackson again. Nearly three weeks after the Bills quarterback led Buffalo to a victory over the Ravens in the divisional round of the playoffs to end Baltimore’s season, Allen was named The Associated Press NFL Most Valuable Player for the first time Thursday night.

Josh Allen had another incredible season in 2024 as he led the Buffalo Bills to a 13-4 record and the AFC championship game where they lost to the Kansas City Chiefs. Allen's performance throughout the year made him the MVP after he was voted the most overrated quarterback in the league in an anonymous ESPN poll during the preseason.

The Buffalo Bills fell short of Super Bowl LIX, but Josh Allen is still being recognized for his efforts. Seven years into his professional career, Allen has been named the 2024 AP NFL Most Valuable Player.
