A northern leopard frog tadpole completes its transformation, and an endangered northern leopard frog reared at the Oregon Zoo hop back into the wild at the Columbia National Wildlife Refuge.

The zoo say that more than 50 tadpoles were released at the Columbia National Wildlife Refuge in Washington earlier this year. The remaining 100 will go into the wild next month officials say.
