Rocket League Axes Trading Mechanic. The holidays are right around the corner, but if you were planning to shower a friend in Rocket League swag--or even trade with them--think again.

‘Rocket League’ Credit: Psyonix Duplicate or unwanted items acquired through player-to-player trading can be swapped for a random item of a higher rarity in the game’s Trade-In system.

As if to confirm this, a Change.org petition that has already raised nearly 10,000 signatures at the time of writing calls for Psyonix to rethink its decision and keep player trading in Rocket League.

Epic has targeted Rocket League and players are furious about an announced change. Rocket League will remove player-to-player trading on December 5, a cornerstone of the game.
