Northern California will see continued rain and snow on Thursday after a strong winter storm arrived Wednesday.
The Bay Area's windy, rainy conditions mixed with frigid air in a few high-elevation areas to produce a noticeable, if thin, blanket of snow over the past couple of days.
The winter storm that moved through Northern California on Wednesday has been a "really good snow producer, and it’s been a decent rain producer as well,” Meteorologist Dirk Verdoorn said.
Some of the highest peaks of the Bay Area are getting snow Friday morning and Lake County up north could receive up to five inches!
