Starbucks has announced a major change to its popular cup which could present a challenge for social media influencers.

Many Starbucks customers are not happy about the coffee chain's new cup design. Starbucks switched from plastic to opaque compostable cups in 14 states, including Arizona. Some customers have complained about not being able to show off their pretty drinks on social media,

Starbucks will replace its plastic cups at select stores in California and several other states after a KCAL News investigation showed that its current plastic cold cups ended up in landfills.
