Braintree's time at the Little League World Series in Williamsport, Pennsylvania has officially come to an end.

The team from Massachusetts took a 2-1 lead before Washington responded with two runs in the second inning to win.

The Braintree Little Leaguers fell to Washington in the World Series on Sunday morning. The team lost 3-2 in an attempt to stay alive and move on to the next round of the tournament after a big win on Saturday. Braintree scored two runs in the second inning.
