The Milwaukee Brewers revealed on Thursday, Aug. 14, new information for the Bob Uecker Celebration on Sunday, Aug. 24.

Milwaukee Brewers star Christian Yelich had planned to debut a special Bob Uecker-themed bat during MLB Players Weekend last year, but a back injury sidelined him at the time.

Once down 8-1 against the Reds on Friday night, the Brewers came all the way back, Pat Murphy said the win was because of Bob Uecker.

The 13-game winning streak ties the 1987 team for the longest in a single season in Brewers history. That 1987 team won its first 13 games of the season. Add in the final three games of 1986, and the team record is a 16-game winning streak spanning 1986-87. The 13-gamer ties the Minnesota Twins for longest winning streak in baseball this year.
