The City of Decatur is set to vote on whether or not thousands of dollars should go towards their tornado sirens.

MORGAN COUNTY, Ala. (WHNT) – The Morgan County Emergency Maintenance Agency announced on Wednesday that tornado sirens will be activated intermittently on Monday for scheduled maintenance and testing.

A tornado swept through a swath of Tennessee, killing a mother and daughter and injuring at least three other people as it caused severe property damage, officials said.

Morgan County averaged 54.2°F in 2025 with spikes in March and October, as Illinois logged its 19th-warmest year and near-record tornadoes.
