Two people were reported electrocuted amid a storm system that downed trees and power lines and left more than half a million customers in the dark across Pennsylvania, Ohio and neighboring states.

A severe weather outbreak that covered a large stretch of the country from Texas to the Northeast turned deadly in Pennsylvania, where at least two people were killed in storm-related electrocutions.
