Council leaders have ruled out an experiment to dig up pavements outside Norfolk homes so cables can be laid to charge electric cars.

NHS bosses in Norfolk have warned that maternity services at two hospitals are at risk of becoming "unsustainable".

There are warnings that Norfolk is now the 'megafarm capital of Europe', with the number of industrial farms rising by 20pc in the past decade.
