Green Bay Packers honor late fan with induction into FAN Hall of Fame
The late John Brosig of Pound was named the 27th member of the Green Bay Packers FAN Hall of Fame on Monday. Brosig was selected by fans from among 10 finalists during a voting period that ran through the month of January on Packers.com. More than 70,000 total votes were cast from throughout the United States and countries around the world.

Brosig, the 27th FAN Hall of Fame member, is the first posthumous selection. He was diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer in June 2024 and died Dec. 28 at age 80. He knew he was a hall of fame finalist and was pleased about that, said son Max Brosig.
The mural will feature 100 portraits of fans and is open to supporters of all 32 NFL teams. It aims to raise $100,000 for three Green Bay charities.
